TTI NORTH AMERICA CHOOSES eBOX™ AS ITS NEXT GENERATION CRM
Improved Customer Service, Richer Customer Knowledge
(Anderson, SC -- March 3, 2005) – TTI North America has chosen eBox™, powered by CustomerNation of San Jose, California, as its customer relationship management technology partner.
eBox™ is a web-based, customer-facing relationship management engine that creates a unique identity for every customer and tracks their interaction with TTI North America’s brands to ensure excellent and consistent customer service. Private labeled for the company’s web sites, eBox™ serves as a new touch point between TTI and its customers, providing one source for everything they need to know about their products while also giving support staff an integrated all-in-one communications platform. This provides TTI North America with the ability to share among all departments – customer service, marketing, sales, engineering and manufacturing – this rich knowledge of their customers’ product choices, preferences and needs, while creating greater customer satisfaction and stronger brand loyalty.
“eBox™ enhances the customer experience and our utilization of this software package, combined with our internal ability to react to market forces, takes us another step above our competitors in delivering the products and services our customers want,” said Bob Freitag, president of TTI North America. “eBox™ is also a powerful marketing tool, allowing us to proactively create customer-specific initiatives and a true one-on-one marketing experience. It accelerates service, parts and information delivery, while driving down customer service costs.”
Currently being used for all RYOBI-branded products, eBox™ is a safe, secure permission-based procedure, allowing the customer to provide as much or as little information about themselves as they desire. Because customers maintain control of their information, TTI North America expects a significant increase in the number of customers who register their products, as well as their preferences and opinions.
The technology allows customers to create their own private eBox™ while registering their products through the Ryobi website (www.ryobitools.com). Additionally, an eBox™ can be created during any customer service contact through the Ryobi toll free help line (800-525-2579). The eBox™ is unique to the person who sets it up and all registration pages are SSL encrypted through Verisign. The customer is provided with a user name and password that is entirely safe. Once created and tools are registered, all product information, calls, emails or correspondence will be stored in the individual customer’s eBox™ to aide in providing up-to-date information on products, track requests for information, parts, technical assistance, etc. The eBox™ technology is integrated into the Ryobitools.com website providing a seamless brand experience for the customer.
”eBox™ revolutionizes the way our customers can register their products and receive product specific information; they can retrieve the information we upload to their eBox anytime they want,” said Freitag. “The ability to collaborate with the users of our products in real time and on their terms is a huge benefit to this technology.”
“On top of the great products that TTI North America is already known for, we’re excited that TTI has chosen to give eBox™ to its customers for maximizing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty beyond the initial purchase,” said Steve Dueck, president of CustomerNation
TTI North America plans to implement eBox™ for other company brands in the coming year.
